Guidelines for Developing Practice

The Guidelines for Developing Practice have been devised by IFPN and ratified by the Council of National Representatives. They represent best practice principles and are available for any perioperative nurse to download free!

The evidence contained in the references has been gathered from colleagues and perioperative organisations around the globe, so whilst they represent best practice, they do not necessarily meet local legislation and practitioners should use them and add to them any relevant local frameworks.
